HOW DOES TAP CREATE PROFESSIONAL IN SO LITTLE TIME?

 

When we recieve your project an Audio Director will review and match one or more of our top lead engineers to your project. 

           

           A lead engineer must have network and film credits and a minimum of 15 years

              professional experience. Speed, quality and creativity are required. 

 

The project is then broken down into 4 parts. 1. Organizing assets. 2. Dialouge Editing. 3 SFX Editing. 4 Final Mix.

 

In some cases the Audio Director will assign 4 engineers to a single project. Each engineer will work on a specific part of the project then send their parts to the last stage for assembly and final mix. 

 

After Final Mix, the Audio Director will test for accuracy, creativity, levels, overall quality and message clarity.  

 

Here are some of our guidelines for the Audio Director 

 

1. Does this reflect the look and feel of the content?

2. Is there any distortion?

3. Are all of the client notes fulfilled?

4. Is the message cutting through the mix?

5. Is this overdone or underdone?

6. Does the dialogue sound even?

7. Does the music have power when it needs it?

8. Are the SFX creative and reflective of the graphics?

9. Is the mix clean, punchy and powerful?
